Mysteries always surrounded the Lords of Dungeon. Perhaps their living underground most of the time led to the unwillingness to disclose anything more than the necessary minimum, if even that. Another distinctive feature of them was their supreme knowledge of the battle magic. For eons they have searched for the exact formulas of the offensive spells inflicting immense destructions and after founding them they have polished and practiced their use until they reached near perfection. No one who have had the fortune or 'unfortune' to meet them and left the meeting alive doubted that the Dungeon Lords were the real professionals in anything connected with the destructive magic.

That was the reason that the Dungeon Lords were one of the first among few (perhaps Bracadian wizards with the help of the aliens were among others) who recognized the threat for the world existence represented by the creation of the Armageddon's Blade sword in the last just finished war with the alien Kreegans in Antagarich. The sword was magical weapon of the tremendous destructive power. The Dungeon Lords couldn't be called the Lords if they didn't know what this meant for the world.

They knew that power attracts power and that the destruction begets the destruction. Despite the common belief that the opposites are meant to be avoiding each other the Dungeon Lords knew better. The opposites attract each other. The ultimate weapon of such power as the Armageddon's Blade couldn't exist without its soul twin who by the secret magical rules should be its opposite. The Armageddon's Blade belonged to the fire world. Therefore, the Lords surmised, its opposite should be from the plane of cold.
